Spiritual Formation

O LORD, you are our Father; we are the clay, and you are our potter; we are all the work of your hand. (Isaiah 64:8)

Over the course of our lifetimes, God forms us into the people we are and into the servants God calls us to be. None of us is ever finished being formed because God, the potter, continues to work us, the clay, holding us in the palm of God’s hand, molding us into closer followers of Jesus Christ.

At St. Stephen’s, we participate in this formation through myriad educational programs for all ages, through service in the community (what we call “Outreach”), through worship, through fellowship with one another, and through giving back to God out of the gifts God has given us.

As you explore the pages of this website, we invite you to ask yourself the question: “How are you participating in God’s formation of you?” We hope we can be part of that formation here at St. Stephen’s and you can be part of ours.
