On the first Wednesday of every month, an ad-hoc group of parishioners comes together to make a hot meal for more than 150 guests at Father Bill’s Place in Quincy. They have it down to a science: in and out in an hour to an hour and half and they make three huge aluminum trays of hot cooked dinner. Whatever main ingredient Father Bill’s provides them, they turn into a feast. It’s remarkable really. Due to the ministry of another dedicated volunteer, we also provide fresh baked cookies every week to supplement the meal.
If you’d like to get involved with our Father Bill’s cooking ministry, just show up at about 8:30am on the first Wednesday of the month and join the dedicated band of volunteers up in the kitchen!
